Royal Berkshire NHS Trust's latest statement on high demand currently experienced at the Emergency Department as of 20th December 2022:
We are under extreme pressure with high numbers of seasonal winter illnesses including flu and respiratory infections.
Our Emergency Department is currently experiencing high demand, with long waits to be seen.
Please do not attend ED unless it is an emergency, like a life threatening situation.
